Outdoor Fun!

Help me give my students the playground equipment they need to get out their extra energy (as well as a place to store it!)

My Project

The students at our school have been blessed with a beautiful new facility and state of the art playground; however, the playground is currently out of commission while the flooring is repaired and renewed to safety standards. This leaves our children with a wonderful, wide open field with nothing to do on it and no shade for salvation.

This project would provide our students with the equipment - as well as some much needed shade - necessary to enjoy all that recess has to offer.

Recess is a time where students are encouraged to play together cooperatively, building on skills such as communication and problem solving. This equipment would allow them to play team games such as kick ball, soccer, football and maybe even learn double-dutch! It would also provide us with a safe place to store it all so that every grade can use it while they burn that extra energy!
