Outdoor Fun in Universal Transitional Kindergarten!

Help me give my students practice balancing, improve eye-hand coordination, enjoy crawling through a tunnel, and learn to hula hoop! Outdoor time is an integral part of our Universal Transitional Kindergarten program. This equipment will enhance our program.

My Project

My 4 and 5 year-old students love to learn through play. They are active and joyful as they explore physical challenges climbing, jumping, balancing, building and playing together on our playground.

This new equipment will enhance our outdoor time by providing balancing challenges, eye-hand coordination practice, and help the children learn to hula hoop.

The children will enjoy this unstructured exercise and will practice skills they need to improve their coordination and strength.

The children play together during our outdoor time and also need time to explore their own abilities on their own. This new equipment will excite them and encourage them to try mastering new physical skills.
