Outdoor Dining and Classroom

Help me give my students a welcoming and versatile outdoor area where students can eat lunch, gather, study, rehearse, and participate in outdoor learning experiences. This shared space will be located between the middle school and elementary school.

My Project

We are requesting funding to complete the development of a shared outdoor lunch and learning space that will serve both middle school and elementary school students. This project aims to create a safe, engaging, and functional outdoor dining area that can also support instructional, musical, and community activities. Initial progress has already been made—tables for the space were purchased by the Middle School Chorus as part of their community enrichment initiative. To fully realize the project, we are seeking grant support to acquire mulch and a small tiller to prepare and maintain the outdoor site.

Mrs. Rumbaugh will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by March 13.
