Outdoor Classroom

Help me give my students convertible benches, for an outdoor learning space to focus on learning.

My Students

My students are a diverse group of children coming from all areas of Charleston County. They are made up of all income levels, education levels, and home support levels. Each students brings a different perspective to our classroom.

The unique life experiences and personalities of my students create a rich environment for learning.

My students have an amazing love and tolerance for each other. They have a passion for learning that is contagious.

My Project

The reopening of school is much anticipated and nerve racking. I would like to create outdoor spaces where the students in our school can focus on learning and not be preoccupied by the new normal that will distract them from the learning they desperately need.

Allowing children the chance to spend more time outdoors will enhance their mental and physical health while also giving them the opportunities for movement that help them focus.

These benches will offer seating along with the option of a table to allow students the chance for outdoor learning.
