Help me give my students a more immersive experience into our outdoor learning spaces. The Sennheiser wireless microphone will be used to create virtual tours and lessons for students in my Biology and Scientific Research & Design courses.

My Students
My students are creative, driven, adapt amazingly to change. The first two descriptors I've known for years. The last has never been more true than at this time of learning during a pandemic.
I've always believed that learning can't be stopped and now work to prove that as we immerse ourselves into distance learning platforms.
Looking back, I didn't fully realize that March 12 would be the last time I saw my students' smiling faces for the remainder of the school year. Teachers quickly reworked our lesson plans and assignments for remote learning to meet not only their educational needs but also their emotional needs. I'm fortunate to have an admin team that understands our students are more than their academics. But man oh man, what a steep learning curve for both teachers, students, and parents! While technology played a supporting role in my classroom it has now become front and center. I currently utilize available YouTube videos, virtual meetings, our district's HUB, and EdPuzzles to provide learning opportunities for our students.
My Project
Students in my Scientific Research & Design course have waited all year for their outdoor gardens, box turtle habitat, native prairie, and butterfly beds to grow and now they aren't able to be on campus to see their hard work in full bloom. This unique urban outdoor classroom also serves as a resource for my Pre-AP Biology students for topics such as natural selection and ecology.
Because my students aren't able to see the school's Sky Prairie and other campus green spaces in person, I would like to bring the prairie and gardens to them.
I currently have the tripod and an iPhone camera but I'm missing a strong wireless audio component. As I am outdoors in an urban environment, a wireless microphone would allow me to record clearer sound as well as create better quality presentations and freedom of movement. These videos would be uploaded to my class YouTube channel as well as to the course's online platform and EdPuzzle.
These videos will also serve as tool for community partners and school families to learn and grow with us.
