My Project

Outdated computers are a major hindrance to productivity and efficiency in schools and workplaces. Our school is still relying on computers from 2016 and even earlier, which run painfully slow, frequently freeze up, or fail to even boot up properly. This leaves students unable to complete their work in a timely manner. Compatibility issues are also common with older hardware - for example, many Chromebooks we have cannot print to the available printers, forcing teachers to print everything for students from their own computers. This wastes the teachers' valuable time that could be spent on instruction. Investing in even one new, fast, reliable laptop as a dedicated machine for students to print, research and work on can make a substantial difference in keeping things running smoothly. While a single computer is just a starting point, it's an important step towards modernizing an organization's technology and empowering people with the tools they need to learn and work effectively in the digital age.
