My Project

We are a classroom of 22 students in a low-income Title I community. Many of the families are hard-working single parents or parents working multiple jobs to support their households. The neighborhood is full of hard-working people, but many struggle to keep up with bills. Our school has many caring teachers trying to fill the needs of our children. We are a 4th - 8th-grade building with students who come from various backgrounds. There are approximately 400 students in our building. These books will help engage students with more interesting content and newer material. The gift cards will be available for students to earn the chance at choosing desired books for personal or classroom use.
