This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 3rd grade students will be experiencing something that many of them would not be able to if Kennedy Space Center did not have a special program for the local Title I students. With this project, we would like to take their trip one step further, providing students with an "out of this world experience".

With this project, we can really give them the knowledge and power to be whatever they want to be.

Supplying them with books about what they will experience and some in their native languages. Each child will receive a backpack with a pencil that they can use in their lab books that Kennedy Space Center will give them and snack for their long ride home. What do you say, will you help us take these kids into the next galaxy.
