Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Next fall, we will have a school-wide theme of outer space. I have found an amazing set of classroom decor options that I can print the items I need including bulletin boards, name plates, class jobs, and so much more. I will print these on my home printer (thus the ink and card stock) and laminate them at the school.
I want my students to have an out of this world experience.
Throughout the school year, we will have bulletin boards that focus on the topics we are learning. We will incorporate the outer space theme into every unit. We will write about space (persuasive essay, informational essay, and narrative essay). In math, we will learn about measuring long distances, use exponents, and convert units of measurement in space.
I've included some additional decor items such as glow in the dark planet stickers, backdrops and lights for my reading area, and other decor items to complete the Space theme.
