My Project
The COVID-19 pandemic really restricted positive interactions causing people, especially children, to feel isolated. Children need to be in environments that facilitate and encourage positive social and emotional experiences with their peers. They need these opportunities to develop their communication skills, build their vocabulary, and to learn how to cooperate with others. I will utilize the games, books, manipulatives, and art materials in this project to provide multiple hands-on learning activities that will require them to engage socially, emotionally, and mentally. I am requesting a play barn, toys, blocks, and other materials that the children can play together. These resources will be utilized daily in our centers and learning stations to help bring my students out of the dark and into the light! Watch Us Shine!
