Out of the Box Catering Ideas

Help me give my students supplies they need to continue to cater box lunches for our teachers and guests who visit our campus.

My Project

Advanced culinary arts students need to practice their skills for an authentic audience. By using these food packaging supplies, we can put a professionally packaged lunch out to our teachers and special guests.

My goals for this project are to simulate a real world workplace setting.

Students could accomplish the skills they practice in working for a catering company. Teachers and special groups who visit our campus order box lunches. The students work together to cost out, prepare and pack the lunches for delivery to the teachers.

This group of students has shown amazing growth in preparing lunches to order and professionally packaging them. This helps show our teachers, other students and special guests on campus the quality skills they are learning in culinary class.
