My Students
My students are so excited about learning. They are so energetic and curious just about everything. Everyday is like an adventure in our classroom. I teach at a Title I school where the students receive 100% free breakfast and lunch. Most are in single family homes and live in high poverty areas.
I have students who learn best when they are actively involved as they play, explore, experiment, discover, and create.
I actively engage my students into thinking processes and encourage them to use their questioning, investigating and problem solving skills to help them learn.
My Project
Having the requested large out-door weather resistant blackboards can be used to help engage my students imagination and create exciting opportunities for them to make their mark by counting, making patterns, drawing, writing. or both.
The requested blackboards would be an unlimited resource use as a math visual aid to help my students develop their understanding of a numbers, counting, and how numbers work together.
They can also explore science and literacy outdoor activities and create role-playing areas to promote learning in a fun and interactive way.
The donations to this project would greatly help to improve my students engagement level and encourage creativity year-round.
