Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come to school every day full of life and excited to be there. They may have some physical, emotional, or cognitive limitations, but they enjoy learning to the best of their ability.
Many of my students come from a low-income background and may need many different types of resources to learn.
Working in a high needs school on a daily basis is a struggle, but it is also very rewarding. Together, with the help of the staff and parents, the students learn and grow.
My Project
Memories are oftentimes forgotten because it was not captured and printed out for all to see. In my class, we love to show our work through pictures. Our students enjoy seeing themselves and their friends in pictures around the room.
With ink and paper for our printer, our students will enjoy recognizing and recalling what they did a day or even a month ago when they see their work around the class.
Through your donation, we will be able to make then take a step back in time for just a moment. The students in my class are special needs students who love the repetition of stories or events.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
