Our Tiny Artists Have the Talent, but They Need the Supplies
My students need oil pastels, paint, paint jars, sculpture wire, craft scissors, watercolor pencils, and paper to create more masterpieces.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Worley's classroom raised $443
This project is fully funded
I teach Art in high poverty area of rural Alabama to over 500 kindergarten, first, and second grade students.
The students love to make art, and always look forward to coming to the Art Room, but this year the budget for Art has been cut completely. I have been fortunate to have a few people donate supplies or money, but with almost 600 students those supplies go quickly. While these students are lucky to have a school with an art program, they are limited by the amount of supplies and lack of funds.
My students need more paint to paint their dreams, paper to capture their inspiration, paint jars to capture the spills, oil pastels to brighten their drawings, craft scissors to add interest to their collages, sculpture wire to shape their imaginations, and watercolor pencils to sketch their masterpieces.
Your donation will benefit our young students by giving them the materials and the tools they need to express themselves creatively. They have so much to say, and are all willing to share their voices, they just need a little help to realize their fullest potential.
