Our Tigers Think, Design, and Create

My Students

Our school is located in a rural, mountainous, and geographically remote area of West Virginia. Over three - quarters of our students come from low-income households. To ensure these students are College and Career Ready when they graduate high school, we need to give them rich learning experiences with problem solving and creative design.

Creating a Makerspace/Innovation Lab at our school will give students experiences with new, emerging technologies that can excite and motivative them to consider careers in STEM fields.

My Project

Creating a Makerspace/Innovation Lab at our school will give our students hands-on experiences with creative design and problem solving. Students will be able to create projects for themselves or as a service to other students, teachers, and our community.

The Cricut Maker, accessories, and supplies will allow our students to see their ideas come to life.

They will be fully immersed in technology as they design their project in the Cricut Design Space online platform and then use the Cricut Maker to create their project. The accessories and materials will give us the needed supplies to get started creating projects right away.
