Our Teachers Work So Hard, Help Them Recharge at Work!

Help me give my students an inclusive space for their teachers, where their teachers can wind down and relax! Our district does not provide funding for decor or anything they deem “extra,” and our teachers deserve the best!

My Project

We are opening a brand new school in Spring, TX. I want our teachers to feel loved and valued starting on Day 1 when they walk in the building! Unfortunately, we do not get a budget or funding for anything the district deems “extra” or “unnecessary” to the daily operations of the school. However, I think teachers’ mental health is necessary for their well-being and their effectiveness at work!

With your contribution, we can create a space teachers can collaborate in, relax in, and recharge in!

You will be helping us stock the lounge with stress relief activities such as coloring books and puzzles, a coffee bar, motivational posters and signs, and bean bag chairs for ultimate relaxation!

We are also in need of basic kitchen supplies such as plates and cups, because we forget our kitchenware at home way too often!

I envision this lounge as a space for collaboration - I’m even adding in a wall hanger for displaying the amazing activities and work students are doing in their classrooms. My vision is that this lounge is a place our teachers look forward to spending time in! Will you help us achieve our goal?
