This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year teacher, I am currently planning a fun school year for the kiddos. I want to welcome a new class of eager and bright students that I am excited to get to know. We have a flexible schedule in our class, the spinner wheel will allow students to have a free choice to select their centers. The zipper pouch will contain independent activities, using the simply magnetic base 10, writing tablet and the multi sensory sights words.

The beanbag chairs will help my students in our "Calm Corner"; students will be able to relax and refocus to continue their participation in the class.

Many of my students need sensory activities to focus on their learning, which includes the needs of magnetic letters, math cubes, and to create of sight words. All our requested items support students in reading, writing, and math.
