My Project
I teach a vivacious group of 4th-grade students with disabilities at a Title I PYP school in the Southeast. They are enthusiastic learners, and they absolutely light up when activities are hands-on and concrete.
The science kits and books will help make large scientific concepts more "their-sized" as they interact with tools and models, as well as read books on their various instructional levels. As a teacher of special education students, I find great value in pre-teaching, and these kits and books will allow me to engage my students' curiosity and build background knowledge before my co-teacher leads the whole-group lessons.
