My students need ink for our classroom printer so that they can print high quality pictures for projects and so that the handouts I give them are in full color.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Travis's classroom raised $290
This project is fully funded
My Students
My school is a Title 1 school, with most of the students qualifying for free lunch. My students need to share textbooks with other classes and don't have many resources at home. While some may have tablets or phones, many don't have regular internet access, computers, or printers.
I have always tried to supply whatever I can so students can be proud of their work.
Each year, I spend lots of money on basic school supplies, such as crayons, markers, notebooks, and glue.
This year I was lucky enough to acquire a high quality printer for my classroom, which means that I can print full color handouts for students to use. Students also know that they can bring me a flash drive with pictures or a report to print, and they'll get a nice printout to submit to their teachers. They appreciate it and can be proud of their final product.
My Project
Students are tired of sharing one color copy of a data chart per table, which is what happens when I have to print work at home. With colored printouts, the science and the numbers come to life.
Students want to submit high quality printed work to their teachers, but many don't have access to printers at home.
(Plus we edit their work together when they come to me for my printer.)
Students want to be able to include color printouts for their class projects and notebooks, but don't have access to a color printer unless they're able to spend money at the library.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
