Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our elementary school, our school garden is a vibrant space where students actively engage in learning about plant life cycles. They take pride in planting seeds, tending to the garden, and watching their hard work grow into beautiful flowers and vegetables. We are requesting mesh netting kits, compost, potting soil, seeds, and other gardening materials to expand and enhance our school garden for next year.

This hands-on experience gives them a deeper connection to nature and a sense of purpose as they contribute to the community.

The garden not only supports learning but also fosters teamwork and responsibility, helping students develop important life skills while enjoying the outdoors. We look forward to expanding and enhancing it for the 2025-2026 school year.
