Our School eSports Club

Help me give my students an eSports club that is teamed up with PlayVS, which will serve as an after-school club for students who may not be into traditional athletics.

My Project

We are working to get an Esports club up and running at our middle school. Our goal is to provide an activity after school for students who don't participate in traditional athletics. This club will also provide an opportunity for students who may struggle to find "their people' and make some new friends.

Students will build friendships through their shared love of gaming and reflect on the importance of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.

These same skills will carry over into the classroom and one day into the workplace. Our students are very excited to get this club up and running with new Nintendo Switch and games like Splatoon, Super Smash Brothers, and Mario Kart. Thank you!
