Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The performing arts helps build scholars self esteem, provides problem solving experiences, and fosters collaboration and teamwork. Our scholars have been working very hard to recreate the performance of Frozen Jr. They stay late after school to practice at least three days a week. They have also spent hours at home memorizing their parts and the lyrics to their songs, and practicing choreography. They are working so hard to make this performance come to life. They deserve adequate recognition in photographs and the playbill.
This project will help us acknowledge the scholars and their hard work by creating a display of their headshots and photographs of rehearsals along the way.
All guests coming to view the performance will be able to view the photographs and see the hard work that built up to the performance.
