Our Room Needs The Power of New Books and Printing!

Help me give my students access to diverse classroom library selections and an inkjet printer to provide them with the graphic and visual tools they need to enhance their reading and writing skills.

My Students

My students are having some of their most formidable first years of in-person school. As third graders, the last time many of them had school structure was sometime in first grade. They are a brilliant and caring group that is excited to learn new things!

My Project

My mission is to guide literacy exploration with additional diverse library texts but also connect them with the writing resources they need to succeed.

Our room would extremely benefit from a library that carried texts that represent their identities and interests.

My students have expressed their excitement for science, problem-solving, and engineering. Both of the library selections provide access for this!

A printer would be instrumental in modifying lessons and giving additional printed resources to students. This resource is so vital to me as their teacher- some of my students experience sensory sensitivity and visual sensitivity to screens.
