This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are highly enthusiastic, they are hard-working and creative individuals. Many come from low-income households but despite their hardships, they come to class eager and ready to learn. They are currently in need of supplies and classroom resources, that our school is unable to provide. I truly care about my students and I want them to have the tools they need to be successful.

I am requesting a set of black ink cartridges,

because at this point our printer needs a refill.

We use our printer at least twice a week. It's very essential for us to have a printer with ink. I need the ink, so I can provide my students with worksheets that support their reading, writing, and math skills. I recently tried to printout some activity sheets, but the pages came out faded. The printer was sharing the alert message, stating that the ink levels were low!

My first graders are young but they are creative and they enjoy writing their own stories.

Having ink in our printer will allow me to publish their stories. Not only will we use the ink to print out grammar sheets that support their instruction, but I will also use the ink to print engaging math lessons. I hope you share the same vision as I do.
