My Project

I am grateful to have the opportunity to provide students with a space to feel safe, express themselves, and calm their bodies and minds throughout the day. I need a variety of tools and supplies to be able to meet the needs of over 50 students that I serve each year. These supplies can be used in my calming corner to achieve these goals, but also to do projects with my groups for a variety of holidays, events, lessons, and more. Many children enjoy coloring, drawing and other forms of art as a way to calm their mind or describe their feelings if they can't quite find the right words. Being able to have play dough, colored pencils, crayons, white boards, etc. allows students to choose their method of expression. My students and I would greatly appreciate anything you are able to contribute to.
