My Students
The Mighty Mustard Seeds will sprout and grow into mighty readers with a mighty classroom library!
They are called the MIGHTY Mustard Seeds.
They are a diverse group of students, who are eager to work together and grow together. They are excited and motivated to see personal growth in themselves and in each other, and communal growth as class. They love to read, and share their love of reading with each other. They are also inspired by their older peers through buddy reading, and are excited to sprout into stronger readers.
My Project
Book/box sets such as the Black Lagoon Series, Magic Tree House, and Mercy Watson will definitely benefit our classroom library. These book sets will give the mighty mustard seeds easy access to complex and entertaining chapter books. They will have the opportunity to read and enjoy chapter books right from our classroom library. In addition, they can use these chapter books to bring home to complete reading responses for homework.
The donated chapter books will enhance our classroom library, and will encourage the students to continue growing as readers.
Reading chapter books will help build their reading stamina. These chapter books, in particular, will also nurture their love for reading, their love for sharing their reading experiences with each other and with their older peers during buddy reading.
