Our Manipulatives Need to Social Distance!

Help me give my students cubbies to keep their daily manipulatives stored separate and safe from each other during this COVID-19 time.

My Students

We live in a beautiful rural Alaska fishing village in Bristol Bay. I have 15 wonderful, curious, animated, and amazing students that deserve the best from their educational journey! My students love learning with interactive lessons that teach them all about the world around them! Different animals, places, and cultures are some of their favorite lessons! I use a variety of manipulatives to teach. Due to the pandemic I need to separate their manipulatives and give them individual cubbies to hold on to their learning tools throughout the day. My students enjoy learning through play. Their enthusiastic attitudes are contagious and make our lessons a lot of fun!

My Project

We are planning on having students at school at this time. I am moving back to kindergarten and I need more storage to help me keep their daily things separate. I am asking for a cubby and storage bins to use for their learning tools. For example, in math we use manipulatives to count like little bears. In literacy, I use finger puppets for help my students retail stories. It would be awesome if I had one place to store all the things they use for learning. Cubbies and bins are easy to clean and help me keep their things in a central location. Each student will have a designated bin with their items in it. This will help me in my endeavor to clean, store, and separate their daily learning tools.
