Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My children are very curious. They love to explore the materials they have and are eager to learn new things on their own. They are engaged in our science area and constantly use the materials available.
With these new materials I have requested, my students will be able to explore new scientific concepts.
Some examples include light and shadow concepts by using mirrors, prisms, and flashlights. Our insect specimens as well as microscopes and lenses will give them the opportunity to see the parts of the insects and sea life up close. Magnet sets will introduce them to the foundations of opposite poles.
