My students need various science materials, like puzzle sets, human x-rays, hamster food, 20 mini greenhouses and more, to learn about life cycles, plants, our bodies, and our class pet.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Why, how, when, where, what?" How many times have you heard those questions from a young child? Young children are naturally curious about the world around them and they want to know everything! I would like to help my young students get answers to their many questions and learn new things.
I teach wonderful, inquisitive Kindergarten students in a high-need school.
They are always asking questions and I love helping them find out the answers through hands-on experiences that are fun and educational. My Kindergarten students love science and we need more hands-on materials so they can gain the knowledge they are seeking.
My Project
Our class needs new materials to learn science in a fun way. Our current materials are old and falling apart. We need science puzzles, a sensory mat, a what's inside me vest, human x-ray cards, a plant lab, mini greenhouse's for each student, hamster food for our class pet we will get, and plant growing crystals. These materials will help my students learn about our bodies, plants, our senses, and animals.
You can help my students become happy little scientists by donating hands-on science materials to our class!
You can bring knowledge to those little inquiring minds that need to know. Please donate to this worthy cause. Thank you!
