Our Little Garden of Hope

Help me give my students an inclusive outdoor learning environment centered around a school garden and weather station.

My Project

The project at our school aims to create an inclusive outdoor learning environment that will provide students with hands-on experience in different growing mediums, complemented by a compost/worm bin for fertilization. The installation of a weather station will enhance science lessons about weather and potentially benefit the broader community.

Additionally, a rock garden will promote social-emotional learning by spreading joy and inspiring kindness.

Students will be able to contribute throughout the year. Students will also learn while observing pollinators that visit a pollinator garden and bee hotel that will support biodiversity and environmental education at our elementary.
