Our Library Pet Needs a Good Environment!

Help me give my students a tank for our bearded dragon that is appropriate for our library pet's size!

My Project

Inquiry-based learning is an essential piece to library instruction, and a library pet such as a bearded dragon supports such instruction while also supporting STEM education and the science curriculum. Library pets also support socio-emotional learning and skills around caretaking, sharing, and empathy.

Our students are inquisitive and enthusiastic.

I wish to bring our bearded dragon to our library, but he doesn't currently have an appropriate environment to live in at the school- the one I've managed to source is too small for a fully grown beardie. This means he is spending his days in my apartment, away from the students. Honestly, Kuro, our bearded dragon, is showing signs of depression after having previously been the star of a library, and it's for the benefit of both Kuro and the students that he gets back to work as a co-librarian supporting library instruction!
