My Project

Our budding artists in kindergarten and preschool create art every day. We would like each student to have the colors available to draw and color a portrait with the skin color that belongs to the subject of the portrait.

It is important to celebrate each part of us that is unique as well as our similarities.

Teaching our students to embrace diversity at a young age will support their education in numerous ways. Having art supplies that demonstrate this will enforce that we celebrate the black community every day, not just during Black History Month.
