My Students

I have instruments but they can't be played. I need to replace some broken instruments that are used by my younger primary age students. There aren't enough to go around!

I teach at an elementary school in a economically challenged part of Middle Georgia.

My students love to move, sing, and play instruments in their music class. Our school is for grades Kindergarten to 5th Grade. My primary students look forward to coming to music.

My Project

My students need instruments (ten sand blocks and eight tambourines) that are not broken. My students need instruments to replace some of our broken instruments. Some of the instruments are over 10 years old and in need of replacement due to ware and tear. We play lots of music games using instruments, changing instruments, using instruments to create sound effects for stories and more. We use instruments to learn about rhythm and steady beat at this age also.

My students are in need of some new instruments to replace some of our broken instruments.

We need ten pairs of sand blocks and eight tambourines. Your support of this project will ensure that most or all of my primary students will have an instrument to play in class. Thank you for your consideration of this project for my students.
