My Project

Having a kitchen set in our classroom helps with a variety of skills important for kindergarten development. One way it helps is that it helps them to develop fine motor skills. Another way is that it helps to develop numeracy skills and problem solving skills in addition to planning and organizational skills.

My goal for this project is to be sure that all students have the opportunity to develop their language and communication skills as well as develop the ability to work as a team and encourage social skills.

My children often do not have the opportunity to operate in an imaginative play space and I would like to provide that opportunity.
