Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students deserve a calming, relaxing environment with the necessary sensory tools that help with self-regulation and developing healthy coping skills. The happy lamps will bring natural lighting into our classroom and help students re-focus and re-charge so they can engage on their academic skills in the classroom. The fluorescent light covers will create a natural, green space that will help reduce anxiety and stress.

Having lights that stimulate natural sunlight, especially in a room without windows will help keep student's energy levels up and will keep student's happy and motivated to do their best.

With the requested lights and filters, we will create and foster a happy, calm space that allows every student to feel safe and supported.
