This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is a joint project between a general education teacher and a special education teacher. We are coordinating a program for our students to work together to bring our current small garden back to life and need tools, soil, seeds, garden beds, and more. One goal we have is that of collaboration. We hope that our students will learn how to work together, problem-solve, and enjoy the gardening process.

Our students are very curious, eager and creative.

This project will allow them to not only use their science and math skills to build, maintain, and study the garden, but also to feel how nice it is working together.
