Our Future's So Bright - We're Gonna' Need Shade!

My students need an outdoor canopy and a water table to enjoy our wonderful outdoor space in comfort.

My Students

I came to school and our tree was gone! Now we need a canopy for shade so we can use our outdoor space for centers. We also need a water table to help complete the area. An outdoor classroom is such a nice change for students who need a little extra room to work.

Our diverse, Title I preschoolers and kindergartners have a great time in our classrooms.

How great it would be to be able to send them outside for fresh air and extra space as they learn. They really enjoy the change and the activities that are specifically designed for outdoors. Water is always better outside!

My Project

We need an outdoor canopy and a water table for outdoor center time. Being outdoors provides an additional learning space and an opportunity for movement for those students that need to burn off a little extra steam. The water table will be used for a variety of activities including word work for our Daily Five rotations and math activities during math block.

A canopy and a water table will add to the wonderful atmosphere of learning and growing in our classroom.

Kindergartners love to spread out to work, and overflowing into our courtyard will make a great addition to all that happens in our class!
