This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are learning about community and their family. There are so many questions asked about where, what, when and how does a community exist. The most important thing I found my students love is their favorite store that holds the items they love. Our discussions go on to how these items get to the store and what role money plays in their transactions.
The color printer in this project will help my students print actual pictures of their favorite community place for their reports.
These colorful pictures will motivate them to present with pride in their work. Our lesson will come to life with your colorful donation.
