Our First Grade Library Needs Your Help!

We don't have a school library, as our radiator made a puddle in our classroom library, soaking our cushions and some books. My first graders need leveled books, read-aloud books, and two bean bags to build our classroom library!

I teach first grade at a charter school in a low-income school district in New York. My students are reaching for the stars, won't you help us build them a ladder?

First grade is the time when readers blossom. My students are enthusiastic readers, but they need some great books and a comfortable classroom library to promote their growing love of literature.

My readers need books! We really need some new books for our classroom library, along with two comfortable reading chairs.

My students are quickly out-reading the books we have. These book worms are hungry for more; help me feed them some quality literature!
