My Project

The materials listed for this project are essential for the Kindness Krew, a club of 4th and 5th graders dedicated to making a positive impact on our school community. This afterschool program aims to help our upper elementary students develop the skills and values needed to be leaders and changemakers by focusing on spreading kindness and empathy. They will accomplish this goal by decorating kindness bulletin boards, writing letters of appreciation and gratitude, discussing what kindness and empathy look like with journaling and read-alouds, as well as brightening others days with surprise treats, notes, and crafts.

The Kindness Krew meets monthly to engage in activities, projects, and crafts that positively influence our school community.

These students will not only impact those around them but also build friendships within the program. My goal for this project is that these materials will help students create meaningful, impactful, and engaging activities to spread kindness and foster a safe, welcoming, and supportive school culture.
