This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are conducting a Domino Club (Mr. Oquendo's) Capicú! Our focus is 2nd through 5th graders with the goal to improve their analytical, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and test-taking skills.

We would have our for 4-5 graders in our before school extracurricular club and 2-3 graders participate in the same program but in the after school portion of our day.

This will also assist our English language learners while interacting and speaking to English speakers with their English language development skills.
