Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In the coming school year my students will be learning from home part of the time, if not all of the time. This has been challenging with the smallest learners, but they have shown resilience, perseverance, and determination! I want to prepare them as best I can for a successful educational experience.

My Project

Whether we are in the classroom or learning from a distance, our class is a family! The fact that we all come from different places and cultures and have different skin colors is what makes us beautiful and unique.

It is essential that we as educators provide our students with rich experiences that celebrate our diversity.

I am requesting a set of books that teach diversity and acceptance, people color crayons, skin tone face shapes, and hair color crinkles so that we can read and celebrate the diversity our classroom represents and what makes each individual special.
