My Project
I am currently a pre-service teacher and I am looking to expand and develop a library for when I do have my own classroom. A library is extremely important to have in a classroom.
I want to give children the option to read culturally responsive texts that they can relate back to the core subject areas. I want them to be able to have a choice of books to read. Students should want to read and I want to encourage this. So many students don't have access to books at home and I want to be able to give them the choice at school.
