This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Who doesn't enjoy being comfortable? We learn best when we feel safe and comfortable. These colorful pillows designed to look like fruit are not only fun and entertaining, but will allow my students a sense of relaxation and comfortability when sitting at their desk.
Their desk is old and made out of hard wood and/or plastic.
The size of our classroom doesn't really allow for something larger like tables, so these pillows would at least offer a little more comfort for their backs and bottoms than what they currently have.
Additionally, these pillows are large enough to offer a sense of emotional support and security on those days when you just need something to hug or curl up with.
