Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help bring many basic supplies to our classroom. My students need replacement items that are used daily. We are especially excited to create our end-of-year classroom culmination project. The assortment of crayons will help beautify and colorize our class book quilt. We have begun sharing and discussing what event, class field trip, or class time we want to draw on our square for this book quilt. It is amazing to see the excitement, the reflection, and the remembering all of my students are doing with this collaboration. This book quilt of student memories throughout the year will be so thrilling to hang in the school and look back on. The strong, clear tape will be used for keeping their papers together for the book quilt. The blue tape will be used for edging all around the book to help assist with keeping the paper not curling or tearing. These are the materials that we quickly run through and need to be replaced often. We will use all of these materials daily to enhance our class work and class projects.

Your donation to this project will assist my students with attaining the basic class materials students need to be successful!

In our class, we love to draw and integrate art into our daily lessons. These materials will help with those projects.
