My school is located in the Bronx, NY. We are a Title I Community Learning School. My students love to read and discover new books in our classroom library.
Our classroom library is used multiple times a day, the students love browsing for new books.
These sturdy bins will make it easier to organize our books and make shopping for books a breeze!
My goal is to make my students more independent and take risks! Since most of our library must be labeled by Lexile Level, I will use the extra bins to organize the books by genre, author and interests. Encouraging my students to explore new ideas, topics and take an adventure with a new book!
My students are special because first grade is a year of immense growth. They come in as beginning readers and my goal is for them to blossom into confident readers!
