My Project

Our autism self-contained class has an abundance of books, and nowhere to put them. We need an open bookshelf to give room to display the books.

Autistic children are visual and need to see the covers of books.

In addition to the bookshelf we need storage for our manipulatives and sensory items. Since Covid-19 we are trying to keep items stored where they are not touching other sensory items. Having the storage makes it easier for the students to locate the items that are allotted just for their use.
