This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The school I work in is a Title I school, where most students come from low income families, and English is not their first language. They have challenging home lives, which sometimes makes it difficult to put learning first.
There are so many different engaging programs for learning available on an iPad, but we do not have enough technology for our whole class.
This additional iPad will help to bridge the gap and give more students opportunities to use different learning apps throughout the day in the classroom and reach their top potential.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
