My Project

The materials in this project will allow my students to shop a variety of tools and books that will enable them to remain or regain a calm head space. These items will help my students stay focused and ready to learn.

Many times, our students become overwhelmed and they are not sure how to deal with these feelings.

Students may act out, lose the ability to pay attention to the lesson, or become disruptive to the educational process. I am hoping to provide a small area of class space ( a calming corner) for children to go and recenter themselves. With this variety of fidgets, books, calming toys, (and storage space for them), students can quietly remove themselves and work to refocus.
