My Students

My middle schoolers are bright, adventurous, and kind students. They come to school wanting to learn. However, they lack access to basic school supplies. This makes instruction difficult because lessons are often interrupted so students can get pencils, borrow paper, or get tissues.

My 7th and 8th graders are visual learners.

I want them to come into a classroom filled with materials, manipulatives, and decorations geared towards helping them succeed.

I don't want my students to worry that not bringing supplies to class negatively affects their learning and success. I want them to be able to come to class and know there are supplies ready for them to use.

My Project

Think back to your junior high Math and Science classroom. Remember the posters, the number lines, the periodic table of elements? Remember using your favorite pen or pencil to take notes and complete assignments? I do. Those visuals were always extremely helpful.

These supplies and visuals will help students succeed in class.

It will allow students to focus on learning and not worry if they are prepared or if they will be able to take notes in class.

Whenever students come into my classroom, I want them to know they are cared for, loved, and their classroom is a warm and welcoming environment. Please help give my students the chance to succeed by giving them supplies to assist with learning in the classroom and beyond.
